5 Ιουν 2024 · The airline has announced that it has increased the checked-bag weight allowance to 50 pounds (up from 40 pounds). Additionally, it has extended future travel voucher expiration dates to 12 months (for vouchers issued on or after June 3, 2024).
22 Νοε 2020 · Your checked bag at Spirit can be a maximum size of 62 inches (including handles and wheels) and a maximum weight of 40lbs. Anything larger than that will cost you an oversized/overweight charge, and Spirit will never accept bags over 100lbs.
Standard Spirit checked bag weight is 40 lbs or less. Overweight checked bags are subject to the following additional fees: 41-50 lbs: + $79. 51-100 lbs: + $99. Spirit charges the following for oversized bags: 63-80 linear inches: + $100. 80+ linear inches: + $150.
