TL;DR partner received a weird vague email about a flight via Spirit Airlines. I think it's a scam or fishing email. Anyone seen this before? PS: no picture of email because my partner is worried about her email getting out there.

Without realizing it, you could easily give up your personal information, flight details and payment information to these bad actors.
9 Νοε 2023 · Sophisticated scammers make it look like you booked a real ticket by sending a confirmation email with your flight itinerary and other details. Eventually, you’re either asked for more money, or you discover that the flight isn’t real.
If you need to make any changes to your flight, contact the airline directly—and make sure you use the contact info from the airline's actual website. Scammers have been known to post phony numbers to intercept customer service calls, too.
