25 Φεβ 2023 · Main Airport Mesa Vortex Lot. Airport Loop Trailhead Parking | Free at Airport Loop Trailhead | 34.855725, -111.780269. The main parking lot for the easiest access to the vortex is the Airport Loop Trail parking on the left side of Airport Road.
There is a $3 charge for parking which is not unreasonable and did allow us to find a parking spot nearby. There was a large crowd already there 15-20 minutes before sunset. Nonetheless, it was worth coming here since sunset is undoubtedly the most beautiful time of the day here. Read more.
