If you want to save a little money, you can take the regular train (not high speed train) - Hong Kong's MTR, to Lo Wu Station and cross the border to Luohu (Shenzhen). It's perfectly possible to travel from Hong Kong to Tokyo by train & ferry. It's pretty inexpensive too.
