With our 24-hour booking policy you can make changes to your reservation within 24-hours of buying your ticket without paying a fee. But there are a few rules: You must book your flight at least one week in advance.
If your flight’s schedule changes by more than 30 minutes, you can book another United or United Express ® flight for free. Your new flight must leave from the same airport within 24 hours of your original flight time.

19 Μαρ 2022 · As part of eliminating change fees, United also got rid of the same-day change fees for all MileagePlus Premier members. If the fare bucket you originally booked isn't available on the flight you want to change to, you will need to pay the fare difference.
You can reschedule your trip and we’ll waive change fees and fare differences. But, your new flight must be a United flight departing between January 6, 2024 and January 15, 2024. Tickets must be in the same cabin and between the same cities as originally booked.
Go to My Trips to cancel your reservation and start the refund process. If your ticket was purchased in the last 24 hours, it may qualify for our 24-hour booking policy. The refund amount will vary based on the situation. Credit card refunds will be processed within seven business days of the request.
