Educational evaluation addresses the effectiveness of program interventions. Within education these typically concern learning, e.g., reading; behavioral, emotional, and social development, e.g., antibullying programs; or broader topics, e.g., whole school system changes such as inclusive education.

This chapter aims to provide discussion on some of the approaches, frameworks, and indicators in school evaluation that can be considered when evaluating present situation in the school in terms of teaching and learning, infrastructure, resources, and stakeholders’ involvement.
Educational evaluation is the evaluation process of characterizing and appraising some aspect/s of an educational process. There are two common purposes in educational evaluation which are, at times, in conflict with one another.
6 Δεκ 2016 · In line with the OECD ( 2013) review, we identify and define four main areas of assessment and evaluation that, while related to each other, differ with respect to the unit of judgment: Monitoring the educational system as a whole, school evaluation, teacher evaluation, and student assessment.
