General Butler State Resort Park is a state park located near Carrollton, Kentucky in Carroll County. The park is named for General William O. Butler, a soldier in both the War of 1812 and the Mexican–American War.

General Butler State Resort Park is home to the preserved Butler-Turpin Historic Home, constructed in 1859. This Federal-style brick residence features eight spacious rooms, two wide halls, a third-floor attic, and a generous basement area.

The highlights would be the observation area with a view of the Ohio River/Carrollton and the historic Butler-Turpin House. Sadly the Butter-Turpin House was closed but I could still read the markets and take a few photos.
