SRAR is short for Self-Reported Academic Record, an initiative to ultimately have all future undergraduate applicants to the University submit their high school record as part of the application process, rather than having the school counselors send transcripts for each applicant.
Even if you report your grades on the Common App or send us your transcript, Penn State requires applicants to submit a SRAR. Please monitor your email for instructions to activate your Penn State Account, log in to the MyPennState portal, and submit your SRAR.

28 Νοε 2023 · The SRAR is an acronym that stands for “self-reported academic record.” And the idea is just that: it’s a system in which you report all of your grades, courses, GPA, and honors (all the info in your academic record) to the universities where you’re applying.
Log in to MyPennState and click on the blue "Self-Reported Academic Record" button. You will be presented with detailed SRAR instructions. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Continue to Complete SRAR" button. This will take you to your SRAR. After login, your SRAR is linked to Penn State.
