Is there anyway i can download a game like CS 1.6 onto a flashdrive and then go to school during lunch and plug in the flash drive and play 1.6 on the schools pc? if so, how would i go about it?
Trying to play a game from a usb stick may be theoretically possible but it is a very bad idea. The stick will die. It isn't built for the kind of punishment you will force it to endure. You can get a 120GB SATA III SSD from Newegg for $17. A 256GB SATA III SSD for $24.
25 Νοε 2006 · All you need to do is download the steam file from www.getsteampowered.com, then download the games. And yes, 2GB should be enough for CSS, since that uses around 1-1.5GB.

15 Αυγ 2008 · You simply install CSS on your computer and then copy the Steam-DIR to your flash-drive. Remember NOT to save your Steam-logon to any "alien" host !
30 Οκτ 2013 · afaik, you can just copy your non steam cs folder, and it will work without installing. so all you need is just flashdrive. hope this was helpful.
