14 Ιουν 2011 · We can download JDK when we create a project using IntelliJ. However, JDK 1.6 is not on the list anymore. You can open your terminal and install it with Homebrew.
9 Απρ 2009 · Depending on your hardware the latest version Apple supplies actually is Java 6, but it is not activated as the default version to use. Apple supplies Java 6 only for 64-bit Intel Macs (i.e. not for original Core Duo Macs). For older Macs, you could try the OpenJDK port of Java 6 for Mac (SoyLatte).

Install Java on Mac. Note: Below instructions are specific to macOS Big Sur (11.x) 1. Download the jre-8u311-macosx-x64.dmg file. Review and agree to the terms of the license agreement before downloading the file. 2. Double-click the .dmg file to launch it. 3. A dialog box with Java 8 Update 311.app reference will appear.
