Save to SD card by default. Tap your profile picture . Tap Settings . Tap Background & downloads. Turn on Use SD card (Save videos to the SD card). If you don’t turn on SD card use, your videos will save to your phone’s internal memory. Make sure that there’s enough space available on the SD card to save your video.
Video downloads require a strong internet connection. Make sure that your device is connected to a 3mbps or faster Wi-Fi network, or a mobile network with a data plan that supports 3G, 4G, or LTE speeds. If you're not sure what your current internet speed is, you can test your speed online.
Update your browser. Try updating your browser or clear your browser's cache and cookies. Check your extensions, including ad blockers. Check whether your browser extensions that block ads are affecting video playback. As another option, try opening YouTube in an incognito window with all extensions disabled and check if the issue continues.
