17 Ιαν 2024 · Steam Workshop was created to allow players to share their creations with each other. This feature allows anyone to upload custom maps, skins, models, and other assets into the Steam library. These items can then be downloaded by other users.
3 Οκτ 2023 · If you've downloaded any community-made Steam Workshop mods, skins, or any files for games and apps within your Steam library, they'll be located directly on your PC in folders! You can delete them, add new ones, or share them with your friends, although it's best to do this directly from the Steam client.

Simple steam workshop downloader using steamcmd. List of supported games for anonymous download: USAGE. Download and run "downloader.exe". Enter one or more workshop URLs, then press "Download". The files will be downloaded to the steamcmd/steamapps/workshop/content/<appID>/<workshop ID> folder (relative to the executable) by default.
