The ADOS-2 is a commonly used instrument for diagnosing autism in people from all different kinds of ages. Depending on your age, you’ll be tested with Module 1, 2, 3 or 4. Adolescents and adults will be tested with Module 4, which contains a few activities, but mostly interviewing.

I am awaiting for my test result, and currently I am only diagnosed with social anxiety and general anxiety disorder; I also have some depressive symptoms whenever I have tasks that require me to focus (but I cannot.)
ADOS-2 Module 4 interview. Don’t read if waiting to be assessed! I just had the ADOS-2 Module 4 and have some questions about what they were looking for in the interviews. I felt quite on the spot which made my mind go ‘blank’ for some of the questions and I felt like my answers were kind of weird.
recently took the ados-2 module 4. Question. there was a doorbell out in the lobby that rang about 5 million times (not really) during my assessment and after saying something to the assessor about it she wrote that the doorbell distracted me in the booklet margin. oh god was this planned all along was the doorbell on purpose ( ・－・) ??
I was reading through the report that the psychologist wrote, and the scoring section relating to ASD was incredibly vague. I am horrible at comprehending vague things and I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on how it is scored.
Module 1—for children 31 months and older who do not consistently use phrase speech. Module 2—for children of any age who use phrase speech but are not verbally fluent. Module 3—for verbally fluent children and young adolescents. Module 4—for verbally fluent older adolescents and adults.
