Just flew AirTran BWI-MIA roundtrip Business Class. Good price, flights on time, comfortable seats, FAs did an excellent job and pilot even stood up in front of plane before take-off to welcome everyone. I will travel AirTran again.
We have been flying Airtran for several years and prefer them over major airlines. Yes, price has much to do with it, but as stated earlier, the planes are new and the service is good. IMO there is no risk in using them. I just wish they flew to more destinations.

We fly Airtran at least twice a year from IND to Florida. The reasons are price, non stop flights from IND to TPA and MCOand the fact that we have not had any probles with them. I have avoided conections thru ATL, so i can not advise you on that.
