Abstract. The theoretical framework for using alternative assessment in the classroom includes considering learners as constructors of knowledge; find-ing authenticity in materials and activities; employing dynamic, ongoing evaluation tools; and empowering students.
Examples of the tasks that students need to do are: write an introduction to the bibliography, read the works, evaluate them, compare the multiple sources, compare the authors’ points of view, check the biases, and so on.
