15 Νοε 2023 · I got this Mac from my brother and he wiped it clean before giving it to me, however when I go to install OS X it gives me 403 Forbidden after I type in my Apple ID. Nothing on recovery disk, I have tried to set the date and time in terminal and tried to connect it direct via Ethernet and no luck.
19 Αυγ 2021 · I don't have another Mac with FireWire/Thunderbolt port available, so can't test target disk mode, but I checked - it boots in target mode when T is pressed. Is there anything I can do to restore macOS/Recovery Mode myself, or the only option is Apple's service (not available in my city)?

Coming from using a Mac and I'm trying to install Windows 10 64 bit on my new build but getting error: "A media driver your computer needs is missing" or "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing". I'm expecting to see a product activation screen here. Here is my build: MOBO: GIGABYTE B550 VISION D AM4 ATX.
18 Αυγ 2018 · OS Recovery error -3403. Hello, when trying to reinstall the OS on my 2018 MacBookPro, either in network recovery or booting from a install disk, I run into error -3403. I tried with airport and ethernet, in both cases I can see the notebook in the list of devices, but it always gives me that error. I also tried to reset SMC and NVRAM, no success.

The "recovery server could not be contacted" error shows up mostly in Recovery Mode, but may affect the macOS upgrade and install process too. Here are some things you can try to solve the issue for good.
12 Φεβ 2024 · Try booting into Recovery Mode using Command + Option + R which should bypass the need to authenticate with your AppleID. You don't want your AppleID associated with the OS after giving it to someone else.
