Expedia will send you a confirmation number for the airline's site and you can check for any changes in your flights. Expedia doesn't actually issue paper tickets, but in my experience, neither do the airlines .

Now to Expedia. Because they do have 'live prices', their prices are usually reliable. Expedia is one of the better ones, but with the lockdown and no revenue coming in it is hard for any company to handle refunds quickly. And they can't pay you until the airline pays them. Most folks here recommend buying your tickets directly from the airline .
