Good is a subjective term but a transatlantic flight in economy is not going to differ much between carriers and LH is as good as most - a lot will depend on the cabin crew you get on the day which is just pot luck.

Know that the long-haul leg LAX-FRA is the good and comfortable leg. From Frankfurt to Italy is kind of like economy plus, with the middle seat blocked. Report inappropriate content. TexasAnglophile. On any airline it is about the crew and true in business personal service is better and to be expected as crew to passenger ration better. My recent flight in Business with Lufthansa from Bangkok to Munich was fine nothing to write home about though.
I had low expectation before my Lufthansa flights a few weeks ago because of all the bad reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised on all my 4 flights. Service onboard was friendly and efficient, certainly no worse than BA.
In 2019 economy food was inedible some of the time. This has never happened to me in business class. In 2022 I have flown business class with 3 different airlines those airlines are Aer Lingus British Airways and Lufthansa. Of the 3 BA had the best food. On Lufthansa the courses were served separately.
