1 Ιουλ 2024 · When you try to download your McAfee software from myaccount.mcafee.com, the download button doesn't respond and you’re unable to download your app. Usually, when you click download, the license agreement and a serial number is displayed, and your download starts automatically.
A back end / front end app sync issue causes devices to not be shown in My Account on the McAfee website. This issue was fixed in 16.0.119, which was made available in June 2024.

15 Σεπ 2021 · Every download fails due to "Virus scan failed". I have tried deleting my cache, updating to the latest version of chrome, using a different browser, deleting all extensions as well as McAfee Webadvisor.
To fix the download or installation issues: Install and run the McAfee Software Install Helper. The following steps are for Windows 11, 10, and 8. Download and run the McAfee Software Install Helper tool. Type your registered email address and password, and then click Login.
