1987—Olympic Park Institute opens in Olympic National Park in Washington state, marking the first NatureBridge location outside of California. 2009—Yosemite National Institutes officially becomes NatureBridge.
Settled in the along the edge of Lake Crescent, OPI has breathtaking lake and mountain views and is the perfect place for any retreat/event out in nature! I came here for a wedding where the couple celebrated the entire weekend.

17 Μαρ 2017 · N atureBridge (formerly Olympic Park Institute) has been Olympic National Park's primary education partner since 1987. NatureBridge provides nature-based education experiences that are rooted in science and nurture the next generation of environmental stewards and leaders.
Located in Port Angeles, Wash., Olympic Park Institute is one of the campuses of Yosemite National Institutes. It provides an outdoor science education for students in grade 4 through 12. Its Elderhostel program deals in the study of ancient forests, coasts and peaks.
