Minimum packaging requirements for cremated remains. Cremated remains must be contained in a five-millimeter polyurethane bag within cardboard outer packaging. A metal container or urn is the preferred method of inner packaging. Minimum size requirements (12" x 12" x 12") apply.
Current bag prices are available here. One personal item that fits in the smaller sizer box (like a small backpack) is included with your ticket. Another personal item or anything larger like a standard carry-on or checked bag will need to be paid for.

Effective July 1, 2023 the policy will apply to Human Remains shipments with a chargeable weight of more than 100kg that fail to cancel or change the AWB prior to cut off time. Effective April 1, 2024 animal shipments will be subject to our Fair Booking fee.

If your personal item can fit under the seat in front of you without spilling into the aisle or the area beneath your feet, you will not need to pay a fee to bring it on board.
Carry-on bag: Maximum of 22 x 18 x10 inches (56 x 46 x 25 cm) including handles and wheels. We may require a carry-on bag to travel as a checked bag if it cannot be safely stowed on a particular flight.
