Each passenger is allowed a single 1 L bag containing liquids, food and personal items. The approximate dimensions of a 1L bag are 15.24 cm by 22.86 cm (6 in. by 9 in.) or 20 cm by 17.5 cm (8 in. by 7 in.). At the screening point, take your plastic bag out of your carry-on and place it in a bin.
PERMITTED through pre-board security screening: Liquids, gels or aerosols in containers 100 ml / 100 g (3.4 oz.) or less. These containers MUST be placed in one (1) clear, closed and re-sealable plastic bag no larger than 1 litre (1 quart).
This includes items such as knives and sports bats, as well as items that may seem harmless but can pose a threat to security – such as liquids. If a non-permitted item is found in your carry-on at the security checkpoint, a number of options may be available to you:

If you travel with liquids or gels in containers over 100mL/100g (3.4oz) in your carry-on baggage you will have these items confiscated at the security checkpoint.
Avoid packing gifts and souvenirs containing liquids, aerosols and gels in your carry-on. These include: liquor, wine, beer, snowglobes, cans of condensed soup, maple syrup, perfume, and lotion. Put them in checked baggage or ship them separately.
