Today, The Art of Living Free Schools (supported by Care For Children) provide value-based, holistic education to children at no cost to their families. We have extended our reach to over 84,600+ students in 1262 schools, in the slum, tribal, and rural belts across 22 states of India, where child labor and poverty are widespread.
It explores some of the root causes behind children’s behavior and provides parents with practical tips, ancient wisdom and easy to implement tools to help children blossom, empower parents to stay centered through challenging situations and enhance the parent-child relationship.
Art of Living's “Gift a Smile - Care for Children” project caters for children coming from difficult backgrounds or whose parents cannot afford education.
Train women in useful vocations. Give vocational training to unemployed youth in the community. Plant trees in tribal school areas and teach organic farming techniques. Today the Care for Children program has grown to include 210 schools serving over 24,000 children.
