On October 28 2022, the official website and Twitter account of the anime adaptation of Rihito Takarai’s manga Ten Count boys-love announced that the theatrical anime will be screened in theatres in 2023.
The Ten Count anime was announced when volume 7, the final volume of the manga was released on the 26th March 2018. A teaser video to announce the 2020 premiere was revealed on the official website. As of January 19, 2024, the Movie has been cancelled due to production circumstances.

Ten Count has been translated and published into English by Viz Media's SuBlime imprint. It has so far has two million copies of the manga in print. It has also been adapted into a mobile game and an anime adaption is also being produced scheduled for a 2023 release.
