For our domestic and international flights, you can check in online 48 hours before the scheduled departure time. You can use this service up to two hours before departure for international flights and an hour for domestic trips.
Counters for flights (both domestic and international) operating from the international terminal close 60 minutes before departure of the flight. Boarding gates will close 20 minutes before the scheduled time of departure.
You can check-in on all Air India flights (domestic as well as International) that you are booked on, except for Code Share flights and all Alliance Air (AI 9000 series) flights. Please collect your boarding pass printout from Air India check-in counters at the airport.
Check in with or without checked baggage and obtain a Boarding Pass from 12 to 2 hours before departure for all domestic and international flights operated by Air India, Air India Express, and Alliance Air.
Online check-in service is currently available only for flights out of India, between 4 and 36 hours prior to flight departure. It is mandatory to print the E-Check-in confirmation slip. E-Check-in applies only to passengers who hold a confirmed reservation.
