23 Απρ 2024 · Checked bag policy. Carry-on bags. Delayed or damaged bags. Track your bags. During busy travel seasons, limitations on checked bags and boxes apply to some destinations. Seasonal and year-round limitations for checked bags have been updated as of April 23, 2024.
2 bags standard, up to 10 bags maximum for U S domestic, Transatlantic, and Transpacific, up to 5 bags maximum if your travel includes the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, and South America. Maximum dimensions: 62 inches or 157 centimeters (length + width + height). Maximum weight: Economy - 50 pounds or 23 kilograms.
15 Ιουλ 2024 · American Checked Baggage Allowance. All checked bags must 50 pounds (23 kilograms) or less in economy and premium economy and 70 pounds (32 kilograms) or less in business and first class (complimentary bags only).
21 Φεβ 2024 · The maximum size of a carry-on bag allowed on an American Airlines flight is 22 inches by 14 inches by 9 inches. All carry-on luggage must fit in the sizers available at the airport and/or in the overhead bin or under your seat. Soft-sided garment bags, up to 51 inches, are also allowed as carry-on items.

Checked bags. Bag fees have been updated effective for tickets issued on / after February 20, 2024. Travel within / between the U.S., Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands – 1st checked bag fee is $40 ($35 if you pay online) and the 2nd checked bag fee is $45.
