A personal item must fit in the space under the seat in front of you with a size limit of 16.25 x 13.5 x 8 inches (41 x 34 x 20 cm). If the item does not fit or there is no seat in front of you, a staff member will ask you to place it in the overhead compartments.

Flight attendants are not required to assist passengers with lifting bags and you cannot depend upon sitting next to a kind stranger.
