1 Οκτ 2020 · I have installed XAMPP on my pc and I change all port from '443' to '4433' and '80' to '8080' but when I start Apache it say me that port '80' is already use but Apache must use '8080' and when I go to 'http://localhost/' it display me a 404 error then I don't know what to do.

11 Ιουλ 2014 · That error indicates the port 25565 is already in use, possible by another instance of Minecraft server running. If you are unable to locate a second instance of Minecraft Server you can always run NetStat to see ALL the ports that are currently in use on your computer.

You could try using nmap from your desktop to confirm if port 80 is accessible over the network, but not responding: nmap -sS -O -p80 ip.of.your.server/32.
I'm trying to set up a VM running Ubuntu 12.04. I have two virtual hosts configured using port 80, but Apache will not start. I get this error: (98) Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80. The output of netstat -tulpn shows that nothing is using port 80.
