A long, rambling gateway into the eastern side of Glacier Peak Wilderness, the Entiat River Trail culminates at its namesake glacier with Mount Maude, Seven Fingered Jack and Mount Fernow towering above. Ravaged by wildfires over the years, the majority of the trail is exposed, dry and dusty.

Directions: From Highway 97-A, turn west onto Entiat River Road. In 16.9 miles, turn left on an unmarked dirt road, which is the road just past the entrance to Stormy Creek Lodge. In 280 feet, take the right fork in the road, which leads to the parking area. Click here for a Google map.
The Entiat River is a tributary of the Columbia River, joining the Columbia near Entiat. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) lists two variant names for the Entiat River: En-ti-at-kwa River and Entiatqua River.
Directions: From Wenatchee, WA, travel north on US-97A (west side of Columbia River) for 14.4 miles to Entiat, WA. Just after the bridge turn left onto Entiat River Road (County Road #19) and travel north 37.3 miles up to the Entiat River Road to the Entiat River Trailhead.
