Skis, golf bags, large musical instruments, bicycles, surf boards, and other such large and/or odd-sized checked bags will be subject to a fee of $16/Rs. 1000 per piece of equipment. Items weighing more than 12 kg must be checked as excess baggage.

This fee usually starts at INR 1350 for 3 kg and goes up to INR 13500 for 30 kg on domestic flights. For international flights, it ranges from INR 1656 for 3 kgs to INR 16560 for 30 kgs.
