Children ages 12 years and older are accepted for travel unaccompanied. Children ages 5 through and including age 11 (ages 5 - 11) will be accepted for travel if accompanied by another guest who is at least 15 years of age and is travelling in the same class of service as the child.
If you prefer to travel with your child as a lap child, please be sure to hold them on your lap for the duration of the flight. The following restrictions apply: One (1) lap child is permitted for each ticketed adult. You may not reserve seats for children traveling as lap children.

Unaccompanied minors (5-11 years old) are not permitted on International Flights. Passengers under 12 years old must travel with a companion who is at least 18 years old as long as they are traveling on the same flight, in the same compartment.
IN-FLIGHT AND ARRIVAL. The federal mask mandate has ended on April 18, and masks are no longer required in airports. Many airlines have also relaxed their mask rules and it’s now optional to wear on a plane. Hawaiʻi’s indoor mask mandate ended on March 25, 2022.
