26 Φεβ 2021 · Qantas international checked baggage allowances to North & South America. For Qantas flights to and from the Americas, the ‘piece system’ applies. This means that the airline restricts passengers to a specific number of bags, rather than a specific overall weight.
Baggage allowance on international flights to/from the Americas by Frequent Flyer status. Total dimensions of the three (3) pieces must not exceed 159in (405cm) and total dimensions of the two (2) pieces must not exceed 106in (270cm) with no one (1) piece exceeding 62in (158cm).

Individual checked bags must not exceed maximum linear dimensions of 62 inches (158 cm) (55 inches (140 cm) for domestic flights) including handles and wheels. Domestic Flights. Economy: 1 piece up to 50 pounds (23 kg) Business: 2 pieces up to 70 pounds (32 kg) each.
As a general guideline, Economy passengers are allowed one or two pieces of checked baggage, each weighing up to 23kg (50lbs) for domestic flights and up to 30kg (66lbs) for international flights.
