24 Ιουλ 2018 · I'm confused about the size restrictions of checked luggage and I'm hoping you can help me. I just purchased a new samsonite 29" spinner suitcase for our upcoming trip. I know the airline policy is 62" and my suitcase would be just under that at 61.5.
Maximum weight is 50 pounds and maximum size is 62 inches (length + width + height) per checked piece of luggage. The bag should be stowed in the overhead compartment, and your small personal item should be stowed under your seat. Sizing up your carryon and personal item: One carryon bag. Goes in overhead bin. Size limits: 24” (L) + 16” (W) + 10” (H) Examples: roller bag, small suitcase. One personal item.
