Southwest Airlines® cultivates relationships with more than 400 local and national organizations to generate impact across our communities. Our giving focuses on several strategic areas including workforce development, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and environmental sustainability.
Organizations invited to formally apply for a grant from The International Foundation must complete a full grant proposal and supply additional financial and project planning documentation. This proposal, similar to the LOI, will be submitted through our online portal.

Our Leaders recognized the value in creating the Southwest Airlines Foundation and we investigated the options to best suit our long-term needs.
