How do I pay for my pet's travel? You will pay for your pet’s travel when checking them in at drop-off. We accept the following forms of payment: At Cargo terminals: Credit card, debit card, and customer credit account. At ticket counters: baggage service areas and global: Credit card, debit card and customer credit account.
Guests traveling with pets will need to check-in at the ticket counter. At this time, curbside or self-service check-in is not allowed. Please allow extra time beyond normal check-in guidelines.

However, it is probably best to reserve a spot for your pet on the plane as soon as possible since Spirit doesn't allow more than six pet carriers per flight.

Instead, plan to arrive earlier at the airport to check in at the counter. Make sure you bring along any certificates your pet might have, such as vaccination slips.

Current bag prices are available here. One personal item that fits in the smaller sizer box (like a small backpack) is included with your ticket. Another personal item or anything larger like a standard carry-on or checked bag will need to be paid for.
11 Φεβ 2024 · If your pet cannot comply with in-cabin policies or is an unusual breed, Spirit does offer cargo travel. However, fees are significantly higher starting at $200 each way. You’ll also need to arrange your own ground transportation on both ends of the flight.
