Current bag prices are available here. One personal item that fits in the smaller sizer box (like a small backpack) is included with your ticket. Another personal item or anything larger like a standard carry-on or checked bag will need to be paid for. PRO TIP: Purchasing a carry-on or a checked bag at the time of booking is the most economical.
5 Φεβ 2024 · Just as with carry-on bags, Spirit Airlines checked bag fees vary depending on when you book them and the size of the bag. But the weight is critical. Spirit checked bags cannot exceed 40 pounds without getting hit with additional fees.
Bags purchased within 24 hours prior to departure will be charged at the online check-in rate, so buy bags early and save major moola. If you don’t check in online, our kiosks at the airport are self-serve and easy to use. Some Guests may not be able to complete check-in online (see below).
Connecting Guests must claim all baggage regardless of final destination upon arrival in the U.S. After clearing Customs, Guests with connecting flights are required to re-check all checked bags with a Spirit Airlines Guest Service Agent.
