Saw this tip in the comments somewhere, and wanted to make a post to gain visibility for others! Keep calling the support number (800-653-8000 as of now) until you get through. You may get a busy tone. You may get a “all lines are busy message”. It may say Call Failed.
Ticketmaster just called me back at 1:15pm and said it was approved for either an exchange or refund. Obviously they prefer an exchange but can do the full refund. Just for reference, I live in DC and this was for tickets on Saturday for Six.
I called Ticketmaster and told them what happened. They said I should hear from the fraud department soon. Of course I changed my password once this happened and added a phone number.
