10 Δεκ 2023 · Dec 11, 2023, 2:44 PM. I think being able to access and cancel your booking with a reference and last name only is this day and age is definitely a problem with Turkish Airlines. This is like in the old days when a single username and password for a bank would let people access their accounts.
Dear passengers, please be aware of the fake emails that were seemingly sent by Turkish Airlines. These emails may contain harmful software and should be deleted without opening. Please remember that Turkish Airlines don't send confirmation emails to passengers without a booking or reservation.
10 Δεκ 2023 · After posting my request on their official facebook page, I got a message 30 mins later from a so-called TK Customer Service officer (FB does have a tick for official accounts but quite difficult to notice it).
10 Δεκ 2023 · I called & escalated as much as I can the issue to Turkish Airlines, urging them to lock the booking or block any option to cancel or change it. To my dismay, the only position I got from them is : we can do nothing about this
