Seasonal limits. Some destinations limit oversized, overweight and extra checked bags during busy travel periods like spring break or the holidays. If you’re traveling on any of the dates below, check to see if your departure, arrival, or layover airports have any seasonal limits on checked bags.
13 Ιουν 2024 · Both carry-on bags and personal items are required to meet certain standards that are set by United. You may bring 1 of each with you when flying United (excluding Basic Economy on a non-transatlantic flight), but the requirements for each are different.

Checked bags on United Airlines are allowed to be a maximum size of 30” x 20” x 12” (76 cm x 52 cm x 30 cm) or 62 total inches, which includes wheels and handles. The weight limit depends on which cabin you booked and your MileagePlus status.
On United and United Express flights, you are allowed up to two pieces of checked baggage with a maximum weight of 50 pounds (23 kg) and a maximum outside linear dimension of 62 inches (158 cm), subject to payment of the applicable service fee (s).
