Important things to know about award travel fees: Fees apply to United ®, United Express ®, Star Alliance TM airline partners and other airline partners. Fees vary outside of the U.S. and Canada and based on your MileagePlus® status level. If multiple people are traveling together, fees apply to each ticket individually.
Missed, delayed and canceled flights. If your flight is canceled, delayed by more than an hour, or you missed a connection we’re actively looking for ways to get you back on track.
You must book your flight at least one week in advance. You must cancel or change your flight within 24 hours of the time you made your reservation. If you have a Basic Economy ticket or booked your flight using Money + Miles, you can’t make changes but you can cancel for a full refund.
Refunds. If the scheduled departure or arrival times on your flight change significantly or we can’t seat you in the same cabin, you can request a refund. Sometimes we need to make changes to our flight schedules. Learn more about how you can rebook or request a refund.

19 Μαρ 2022 · Refundable fares can be canceled and refunded to the original form of payment any time before the flight departs. These tickets can be canceled online or by calling the United Reservations desk, though we highly recommend canceling online to save time.
