11 Οκτ 2023 · To clarify, you cannot use the original Windows 7 OEM key to activate Windows 10. If you have claimed the free upgrade in the past from Windows 7 to 10, that process assigned you a digital license instead for Windows 10. 20 Αυγ 2018 · Unofficially, a lot of users are reporting they can still clean install Windows 10 and activate that using their Windows 7 product key . . . So, if you want to try that: Backup your data, then clean install Windows 10
5 Σεπ 2021 · Please do try using the Showkeyplus app which you can download from the Microsoft store and check if it gives you the same product key. If it is a different key, try to use it to activate Windows 10 on your device. Please do try rebooting your PC then run the app again.

11 Ιαν 2016 · The updated November version of Windows 10 from the Media Creation Tool should allow you to enter your Windows 7 Product key at activation. However, if it is a VL key of Windows 7 it will not work, has to be OEM/FPP.
Locate your product key for Windows 10 or Windows 11. Depending on how you got your copy of Windows 10 or Windows 11, you'll need either a 25-character product key or a digital license to activate it.
