17 Οκτ 2015 · I have the 'block popups' box checked in preferences. When browsing, a Yahoo popup often appears asking to add a yahoo extension. I do not want the extension but that option is not given.
21 Δεκ 2014 · I use the AdBlock Plus extension to do this - when you log in to your Yahoo Mail, wait for the annoying overlay to appear, then click on your AdBlock Plus icon. Select the option for "block element", then (left) click on the overlay. AdBlock will then block that element of the pop up.
7 Δεκ 2021 · To remove Yahoo search from Chrome, go to Settings > Search Engine > Manage Search Engines. Set a different search engine like Google or DuckDuckGo as the default, and in the options for Yahoo, click "Remove From List" to delete it from Chrome entirely.
