It represents more than 135 establishing and prospective booksellers and is supported by more than 75 publishers, distributors, NGOs, and industry professionals.
The Canadian Booksellers Association, founded in 1957, has a healthy and steadily growing membership of about 1200 (1996). It also offers associate nonvoting memberships to publishers and agents.
