Passenger Locator Forms (PLFs) are used by public health authorities to facilitate cross border contact tracing in case travellers are exposed to an infectious disease during their travel by plane, ship (cruise/ferry), rail, bus or automobile.

The requirements for working in Portugal are different. If you’re travelling to other Schengen countries as well, make sure your whole visit is within the 90-day visa-free limit.
The Passenger Locator Form is no longer required for visiting Portugal. The applicable Covid-19 entry requirements changed, eliminating the need to fill out the Passenger Locator Form before departure.
The PLF form is available entirely online and can be completed within minutes from home using any working device with an internet connection. The confirmation of its completion is later on delivered to each traveler via email and should be presented upon arrival in Portugal, either in electronic or paper form.
