Next to "Detect language," click the Down arrow . Click the language to translate from. Each language has different keyboards. At the bottom left of the white text box, click the Down arrow . Click the keyboard you want to use. The keyboard or drawing area shows below the white text box. Use the keyboard to type or draw what you want to translate.
Next to “Google Translate,” turn on microphone access. On your computer, go to Google Translate. Choose the languages to translate to and from. Translation with a microphone won’t automatically detect your language. At the bottom, click the Microphone . Speak the word or phrase you want to translate. When you're finished, click Stop .
Choose & download languages. Before you download languages, connect to Wi-Fi. Open the Translate app . At the bottom, select the language you want to download. Next to the language, tap Download . If it’s not there, the language can’t be downloaded. If it asks you to download the language file, tap Download.
At the top, select the Images tab. Choose the language that you want to translate to and from. From: Choose a language or select Detect language. To: Select the language that you want the translation in. To choose an image that you want to translate, click Browse your computer.
At the top, click Documents. Choose the languages to translate to and from. To automatically set the original language of a document, click Detect language. Click Browse your computer. Step 1: Download the Google Translate app. To get started, download the Google Translate app for Android. Note: To translate images with your camera in all supported languages, your device must have an auto-focus camera and a dual-core CPU with ARMv7. For technical details, check your manufacturer’s instructions.
From: Choose a language or tap Detect language. To: Select the language you want the translation in. On the app home screen, tap Camera . To translate text from an image you’ve already captured: tap All Images . To translate what you find through your camera: Point your camera at the text you want to translate.
