19 Ιαν 2021 · Effective January 26, 2021, all international arrivals to the U.S., including U.S. citizens, will be required to present a negative COVID-19 (RT-PCR, Rapid & Antigen are acceptable tests, Anti-body not accepted) test taken within 72 hours prior to departure to the U.S. or documentation that they had the infection in the past and have recovered.
Online check-in for flights from the U.S. opens 24 hours prior to departure. For flights to the U.S., the online check-in window opens 24 hours prior to departure from Doha. For all other flights, online check-in is available 48 hours to 90 minutes prior to the flight's departure.
All U.S. citizens who entering Qatar as a tourist and traveling from a Red List country are required to conduct a PCR COVID 19 test with a negative result within 72 hours of arrival to Qatar. They must also take a PCR COVID 19 test upon arrival at their quarantine hotel.

For the most up to date guidance on Qatar’s COVID-19 policies, please see the Qatar Ministry of Public Health website. As of May 12, 2023, noncitizen nonimmigrant air passengers traveling to the United States no longer need to show proof of being fully vaccinated with an accepted COVID-19 vaccine.
