The woman at the bag drop told you that TSA won't transport it if it has anything other than skis, poles, helmet, goggles, or boots. This rule might be new because last year, you had no problem packing your ski clothes in the ski bag.
Since there will be no more than six scheduled pet carriers per scheduled flight, reservations must be made in advance by calling 1-800-I-FLY-SWA (1-800-435-9792). File a Lost and Found Report. If you've left the airport and realize that you left an important item onboard the plane, we will make every effort to locate your item and return it to you. Please file a Lost & Found Report by clicking here, and provide detailed information regarding the item (i.e. model/serial number, brand, size, color, etc.).
Neither Southwest Airlines nor the TSA require children under 18 to provide identification when traveling within the United States. There is, however, an exception for Unaccompanied Minors traveling on Southwest Airlines. Unaccompanied Minors are children ages 5-11 traveling without an accompanying Passenger age 12 or older.
