Bags purchased within 24 hours prior to departure will be charged at the online check-in rate, so buy bags early and save major moola. If you don’t check in online, our kiosks at the airport are self-serve and easy to use. Some Guests may not be able to complete check-in online (see below).
If you are accessing your reservation less than 24 hours prior to departure, simply go to the Online Check-in tab and follow the instructions to access your reservation. You can then click the "Add Bags" link to purchase additional bags. Remember to purchase your bags in advance to save more!
By entering your SkyMiles, confirmation or eTicket number, you can check in for your flight, print your boarding pass, add any checked bags, make a change to your seat, complete a service request and add your frequent flyer number to your profile – all from the touch of your finger.
Customers may check in, select the number of bags they plan to check and pay for or redeem miles (domestically, at most airports) toward bags during the 24-hour check-in window on delta.com, in the Fly Delta app or at a kiosk upon arrival at the airport.
It’s the easiest and least expensive way to check in. Online check-in begins 24 hours prior to departure and ends an hour prior to your flight's scheduled departure. While you’re checking in online , you should purchase any additional bags and/or desired seat assignments.
