Check in online, select your seat and print the boarding pass from the comfort of your home or office. If you have baggage to deposit, we recommend reporting promptly before the check-in closure at airports. Kiosk check-in. Self-service check-in kiosks are available at some airports to enable self-check-in and obtain a boarding pass.
If you are accessing your reservation less than 24 hours prior to departure, simply go to the Online Check-in tab and follow the instructions to access your reservation. You can then click the "Add Bags" link to purchase additional bags.
Checking in online at Spirit.com is free, and it's the quickest way to check in for your flight and print your boarding pass. Check-in begins 24 hours before departure and ends an hour prior to departure. This is also a good time to buy a seat assignment or last minute bags – it will be less expensive online than at the airport.
Current bag prices are available here. One personal item that fits in the smaller sizer box (like a small backpack) is included with your ticket. Another personal item or anything larger like a standard carry-on or checked bag will need to be paid for.
