Spirit Airlines does not accept animals on international flights, except in the case of service animals. Depending on the international destination, specific documentation regarding the service animal may be required.
Service animals, emotional support animals (ESAs), psychiatric support dogs (PSDs), and general pets are all allowed on Spirit Airlines flights but with varying requirements depending on the animal’s classification.
If you fly with a service dog on Spirit Airlines, you will need to submit the Department of Transportation’s Service Animal Air Transportation Form to Spirit before the flight. You will need to submit the form online to Spirit Airlines at this link at least 48 hours before your departure.
